Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Eclipse Custom Solutions is committed to ensuring that our website and our services are accessible to people with disabilities. When disaster strikes, no one should be left without help because of a barrier they did not choose.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines define the baseline expectations for making web content usable by people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What we've done

  • Semantic HTML. Every page uses proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, descriptive links, and semantic form elements so screen readers can navigate our content.
  • Descriptive alt text. All content images include alternative text that describes the image purpose. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology so they do not clutter the experience.
  • Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element — menus, forms, buttons, links — is reachable and operable using a keyboard alone.
  • Color contrast. Text, icons, and interface elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Responsive design. Content reflows at 200% zoom and works on screen readers, magnifiers, voice control, and mobile devices of all sizes.
  • Focus indicators. Keyboard focus is always visually clear so users navigating without a mouse know where they are on the page.
  • Form labels and errors. Form fields have programmatic labels, error messages are announced by screen readers, and success states are accessible.

Accessibility of our services

Accessibility isn't only a website concern. When we enter your property, we:

  • Accommodate requests for written communication over phone calls if that works better for you
  • Work with interpreters, family members, or caregivers who assist in your communication
  • Schedule around care routines, medical equipment, or service-animal needs
  • Respect sensory accommodations — reduced noise, advance warning before running loud equipment, defined quiet hours
  • Relocate belongings carefully when mobility aids, home medical equipment, or service animals are present
  • Provide estimates and scope-of-work documents in large-print or electronic formats on request

If you have specific accommodation needs for an in-home or on-site visit, tell our dispatcher when you call. We will make a note on your work order and brief the crew before arrival.

Known limitations

We audit our site regularly, but no website is perfectly accessible. Known areas we are still improving:

  • Third-party embedded content (Google Maps, insurance partner logos) may not fully meet WCAG AA. We provide text alternatives where possible.
  • PDF documents older than 12 months may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Newer documents are created accessible by default. If you encounter an older PDF that is hard to read, contact us and we will provide an accessible version.

Feedback and requests

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website, in our documents, or during a service visit, please let us know. We will make it right.
